Seminar introduction：

Financial Physics is a concept formed from quantum physics theories based on characteristic traits of securities like matter is formed from solids, liquids, gas and light whereas each has its unique resonance echo signatures and frequency (support and resistance lines). Financial Physics is to identify the normal patterns and duration of these normal gamma patterns to identify anomalies, which in finance we call “abnormal returns” from high levels kurtosis (as well as higher and lower levels of skews in the normal distributions) and when these levels reduce in time (the duration of the kurtosis) rather than assume the observation (the spot behavior) identifies the inevitable and a non-corrosive continuum.

Understanding this flow of capital through the security, we can also identify the flow of the capital from the security to other securities within the same sector or otherwise cross-sectors or even cross-asset using thermo and hydrodynamic equations with viscosity factors (or rather the hot money, smart money and dumb money affects from political, economic, legal, tax and social environmental changes in efficient markets).

Dr. Meiji Fong is an Ivy league graduate from his Masters and Doctorate programs graduating with Magna Cum Laude in the United States. He has served on multiple Government and Private Commissions and Societies; whereas his executive roles for investment, finance, economic policy and geo-political economics. His experiences also served in China as a China Peoples Political Consultative Conference committee member in economic policy; the Thai Government for Financing projects in Cambodia and Singapore; Planned and advised on the restructuring of Vietnam’s distress market and debt markets. Dr. Fong continues to service the financial markets specifically in the fund management industry a Director for the Market Intelligence division of Madison Hedge Fund, G.P., and an Executive Director of Madison Global Assets Management Co., Ltd.; and holds several directorships with other funds of alternative asset classes.
